India-based IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened a new delivery centre in the Brazilian city of Londrina, Paraná.
The centre will deliver business transformation, artificial intelligence and cognitive business operations services to clients both in Brazil and around the world.
It will create more than 1,600 new job opportunities over the next five years, strengthening TCS’ existing presence in the region. The company has been operating in Londrina since 2018 and already employs around 1,700 people there.
The new centre comprises a centralised campus intended to become “a thriving magnet for innovation and collaboration.”
Bruno Rocha, country head for TCS Brazil, said: “The new delivery centre in Londrina is a testament to our ongoing commitment to Brazil and our confidence in local talent. We are looking to double the number of associates in key areas such as cybersecurity, cloud, CBO, ITIS, AI and automation, reflecting our dedication to innovation and excellence in technology services.”
TCS has operated in Brazil for more than 20 years, with sites in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Londrina. It has more than 140 clients in the region spanning banking, insurance, mining, retail and telecoms.
