Chinese firm Coovally, which provides artificial intelligence services, has inaugurated its new headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. The firm plans to use the new headquarters to help it grow operations across Europe and also hopes to expand its business to Latin America.

The new global operations centre will be located in Coovally’s new office on Diagonal Avenue, in the city centre.

Currently, Coovally has hired fifteen people, a team which they expect will triple in size in the next three to four years. The company also intends to allocate a maximum of $6.5m towards its new office over the next three years.

The company has received support from the Catalan Government through ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, the Catalan body dedicated to enhancing business competitiveness. The support also comes from the government’s Foreign Trade and Investment Office in Beijing, which helps Chinese companies invest in Catalonia.
