US-based cybersecurity firm Rubrik plans to set up a new office space in Bengaluru to expand its business in India. The new space will replace Rubrik’s two existing offices in Bengaluru for some time and is scheduled to open mid 2025. The company is planning on hiring local workers as part of the expansion.
According to Bipul Sinha, co-founder and CEO of Rubrik, “The new facility will combine product development, product management, customer support, and global recovery operations under one roof.”

“By investing in top engineering talent, we believe we will continue to create innovative solutions that enhance Rubrik’s portfolio and support our global growth,” he added.
“India is in the midst of a massive digital transformation, and we believe there is a huge opportunity for Rubrik to help secure its digital future. There is a large pool of talent here. India is an economy with a speedy growth rate. Outside the US, India is one of the largest locations for the company in terms of headcount,” he said, adding that the company expects to invest “hundreds of million dollars” in the country.
Rubrik employs over 1,000 people in India, with a global employee count of approximately 3,000.
Rubrik was founded in Palo-Alto in 2014 and launched its operations in India in 2017. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange last April and recently announced it would open a new research and development (R&D) unit in Pune.
