Ciklum, a UK-based experience engineering firm, has announced plans to expand its operations in India by opening two new artificial intelligence (AI) engineering hubs—one in Chennai, which will be 1393.54sqm and one in Pune, which will be 2322.58sqm.

While the firm already has a presence in these two cities, it is moving to larger spaces in both to accommodate an increase in personnel. This will enable Ciklum to double its engineering workforce in India. The company aims to use this expanded presence to support AI-based product development for global clients in banking, retail, technology, and healthcare sectors.

Raj Radhakrishnan, CEO of Ciklum, said, “As we scale globally, we’re making a significant investment in India, doubling our engineering talent and expanding across Chennai, Pune, and other tech hubs. This region offers extraordinary depth in digital talent, and we’re excited to harness it as a key driver in our AI strategy.”

Ciklum employs over 4,000 professionals globally and generates over $225m in annual revenue. Its operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa account for 80% of revenue, while the US makes up the remaining 20%. Ciklum expects its US business to grow significantly in the near future. The firm is also partnering with SRM Easwari Engineering College as part of an effort to increase its academic collaborations.
