Siderise Group, a UK-based provider of fire protection solutions, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Siderise’s new site, its first outside the UK, is initially focusing on producing its RH25-120/90 open-state cavity barrier for ventilated cladding systems. By manufacturing locally, it has reduced lead times from around six weeks to around four days, depending on order size.
This ensures faster delivery and improved customer service in the UAE and surrounding markets. Additionally, it allows project teams to work more effectively and stay on schedule. The new facility has also allowed Siderise to expand its Dubai team, creating four new operational roles.
Adam Turk, CEO of Siderise, stated that the Middle East has been a key market for the company since 2008.
“Investing in our new Dubai facility is a further demonstration of our determination to place Siderise as the leading brand for external passive fire solutions across the Middle East, India, and the Asia Pacific (MEIAP) region,” he added.
Martyn Gillespie, managing director of Siderise MEIAP, said, “As well as being a hugely exciting development for our business, making us more agile, our new Dubai manufacturing site demonstrates our global commitment to our Customer First value.”
