California-based 10X Genomics, a life science technology company, has established a new manufacturing facility and commercial hub in Singapore. The 4,924m2 site features state of the art, automated production suites for reagent manufacturing, a level-2 biosafety lab and a distribution centre as well as supporting warehouse space and open office areas.

The new hub is 10x Genomics’ first overseas manufacturing facility. The opening forms part of ongoing plans to strengthen the company’s supply chain and better serve customers globally. The Asia-Pacific region is becoming an increasingly important market, representing 25% of the company’s global sales in the first half of 2021.
