Arvato, a Germany-based provider of supply chain management solutions to e-commerce firms, has expanded its global network by establishing a new logistics hub in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The 3,300sqm warehouse is located in the Dubai CommerCity Free Zone, just ten minutes from the Dubai Airport (DXB) and less than an hour from Jebel Ali Port, allowing easy connectivity.
Arvato’s logistics hub in Dubai will offer a comprehensive range of services, including general warehousing and fulfilment activities. These services encompass inbound and outbound processes, storage, and value-added services (VAS) such as transformation and bundling, coordination and overall transport management, order management and incident handling, as well as electronic data interchange (EDI) and transaction monitoring.
Additionally, the hub provides services such as Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR) within the free zone, brokerage services, forecasting, seasonal and launch planning, flexible workforce ramp-up, and KPI measurement and reporting, all aimed at continuous improvement.
Various senior officials from DubaiCommerCity and Arvato attended the inauguration of the new headquarters.
Arvato UAE and Turkey managing director Umur Ozkal highlighted how the Dubai operations work in tandem with the company’s presence in Turkey.

Arvato, which has its headquarters in Germany, employs over 17,000 people and operates in more than 20 countries. In 2023, it generated sales of over €2.4bn ($2.1bn). The company hopes its new headquarters in Dubai CommerCity improve communication and effective freight movement both inside and beyond the area.
Additionally, it places the globally operating supply chain and e-commerce service provider at the centre of a significant logistics hub.
