
Pressure-sensitive adhesives and smart tags manufacturer Beontag has opened a new global Research and development centre in Tampere, Finland.
The new facility will host 50 employees and is expected to grow its workforce by up to 20% with a focus on engineering and R&D roles.

The centre hosts a pilot factory to develop innovative products such as Bluetooth low energy (BLE) tags.
In December 2023, Beontag invested over $60m in a manufacturing facility in the US. The new facility will be located on a 200,000ft² premises in Dayton, Ohio and is expected to create 200 new jobs in the region.
