De Heus starts construction of a new animal feed plant in Côte d’Ivoire

Netherlands-based animal nutrition company De Heus will open a new manufacturing facility near Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, to serve the local market.

Netherlands-based De Heus, an animal nutrition supplier producing compound feed, pre-mixes, concentrates and feed specialties, has started construction on a new manufacturing facility in Côte d’Ivoire. The greenfield compound feed factory is located just outside of Abidjan in the new industrial zone of PK in Attingue.

The facility will produce high-quality complete feed with an initial capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes per year. It will become operational during the second half of 2022.

De Heus aims to continue to fully serve the needs of Côte d’Ivoire’s farmers and in the future local export destinations.

The company is headquartered in Ede, Netherlands, with more than 80 production locations in over 20 countries.
