FedEx Logistics, a provider of specialty logistics solutions and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, has opened a new office in Seoul, South Korea.

The new office provides a suite of logistics services including customs brokerage arrangements, value-added services, trade solutions, and international ocean cargo and air services.

Patrick Moebel, president of FedEx Trade Networks, explained in a company press release: “Global customers who trade with Korea and Korean customers alike will benefit from the fully customisable solutions offered by FedEx Logistics. We deliver for our customers by helping them navigate the complexities of global commerce.” He added: “The new office in Korea complements our global operations, strengthening our position to better serve our customers around the world.”

The investment forms part of a wider global expansion plan that allows the company to better serve its customers in 220 countries and territories. The company has additional locations in Asia, including China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Taiwan.
