Massachusetts-based HubSpot, a customer relationship management software company, plans to open a new office in London. The company will initially hire 70 employees at its new location and has committed to using a hybrid working model.
Hubspot began its European expansion in 2013 and now has offices Berlin, Ghent, Dublin and Paris. The company currently employs 5,000 people globally and plans to triple its headcount to at least 15,000 by the end of 2024.
Christian Kinnear, managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “This is a pivotal time for HubSpot. Our growth in Europe has exceeded our expectations, which is a testament to the team and their hard work in building world-class products and delivering exceptional service to our customers”.
Hubspot was founded in the US in 2006 and now has additional locations in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australasia. In February 2021, the company announced it had surpassed 100,000 paying customers and achieved $1bn in annual recurring revenue.
