South Korea-based Intellian, global manufacturer of satellite antenna systems, has opened a new 3,775m2 European headquarters and logistics facility in Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second-largest city.

The new location houses 35 staff and includes an extensive training centre, a customer support centre, product demonstration, an event area and multiple loading bays. It will also allow Intellian to better serve its European customer base by streamlining supply chains and providing more cost-effective deliveries.

In a company press release, Jon Harrison, vice-president and general manager at Intellian, said: “This significant and worthwhile investment in Europe is crucial to the future success of Intellian and our global partners, meeting increasing product demand and the need to be agile with a new infrastructure and facility.”

Intellian was established in 2004 and currently has ten offices and five logistics facilities globally. The company plans to continue to grow its international operations and will relocate and expand its UK offices to accommodate future growth. Intellian will also establish new R&D operations in the mid-Atlantic state of Maryland.
