US-based Kyriba, a software company offering cloud solutions that help firms optimize liquidity performance, will open a new data centre in Saudi Arabia in early 2025. The investment aligns with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision Plan and supports the company’s commitment to digital transformation, innovation and regional growth. The development will comply with Saudi Arabian regulations regarding data residency.
Amer Chebaro, Kyriba’s CEMEA Sales Leader, highlighted that “compliance regulations require that data be stored domestically” in Saudi Arabia. The new data centre will “help our customers meet these requirements.” Chebaro added that the “investment also underscores our commitment to supporting our clients’ digital transformation while helping them improve their overall liquidity performance.”
Kyriba also announced that Saudi German Health, a private healthcare provider in the Middle East and North Africa, is one of their new customers, helping them bolster their credentials in the healthcare sector.
Saudi German Health CEO Dr. Ahmed Shebl said that by using Kyriba’s services, they were “setting a new standard for financial operations in the healthcare industry.” He added that it reflects the “growing trend of digitalization in the region’s healthcare sector.”
Shebl added that the move “embodies our ethos of ‘Caring like Family,’ ensuring that we approach every aspect of our operations with the same compassion and dedication we extend to our own loved ones, while also fostering sustainability through cutting-edge digital financial technology.”
According to Kyriba, they can provide SGH with more secure, streamlined and controlled management of financial transactions, improving efficiency.
