US-based healthtech firm Modernizing Medicine, also known as ModMed, has opened a new global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India.

The 1858m2 facility currently has a workforce of 100 employees, and the company aims to double this number by the end of 2023, particularly in the areas of product development, engineering, and support.

According to Daniel Cane, CEO of ModMed, “The opening of the Hyderabad GCC marks an exciting milestone in ModMed’s journey. The city’s vibrant tech ecosystem and wealth of talent will help us continue our growth trajectory. We look forward to further contributing to the dynamic landscape of innovation and collaboration in this thriving hub.”

Launched in 2010, ModMed has more than 1,700 employees and offers a specialised cloud platform tailored for medical practices in diverse fields.
