The Reifenhäuser Group has opened its new Asia-Pacific headquarters in the Thai capital of Bangkok.
The office will serve as the central location for the Germany-based plastics extrusion technology supplier to manage its sales, services and after-market operations for Southeast Asia. It is aimed at helping Reifenhäuser provide clients with access to technologies, on-site support and quicker delivery of spare parts through a local warehouse and logistics hub.

Reifenhäuser has had a longstanding presence in Southeast Asia via numerous regional sales and service units. The company is hoping that investment in local support structures will allow it to respond more quickly and ensure better accessibility throughout the customer journey.
Marcel Perrevort, CSO of the Reifenhäuser Group, said: “With the new establishment, we are focusing on the rapid market growth in this region. We are now close to our customers with a powerful organisation. There is no substitute for a close geographical proximity when it comes to building long-term partnerships.”
Over 80 guests attended the inauguration of the new office. Reifenhäuser showcased its machine technologies, components, digitalisation solutions and projects.
