France-based SiPearl, the developer of the microprocessor for the European exascale supercomputer, has launched its first recruitment campaign at its locations in France and Germany. The company initially plans to recruit ten staff per month at its sites in Maison-Laffitte, Sophia-Antipolis and Duisburg, specialised in digital semiconductor development, high-performance computing software, embedded security and encryption, and embedded Linux. It eventually plans to create 1,000 jobs across several countries by 2025.
SiPearl, which has been operational since January 2020, currently employs more than 30 staff. In a press release, the company stated that it is committed to hiring employees with diverse profiles, experiences, cultures and nationalities and is looking to increase the number of women working in its professions, while focusing on excellence and passion. It will also offer internships in line with future needs with a view to helping graduates impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“At SiPearl, we are moving forward with a magnificent adventure,” said CEO Philippe Notton. “For the senior and junior engineers who are passionate about innovation and want to work on technologies that are not available anywhere else in Europe, it is time to join us!”
