US-based Gong, a developer of AI-powered sales software, plans to create 80 new jobs at its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, in 2022. The new highly skilled roles will cover sales, marketing, recruiting, pre-sales, customer success, engineering and information security.
The company currently employs 30 staff at its existing office in the city, which opened in 2021. In addition to the new roles, Gong says there is potential for many more jobs to be created in Dublin given the city’s strong talent pool and proximity to the European market.
Wendy Harris, vice-president for EMEA at Gong, said: “We are on a mission to unlock reality to help people and companies reach their full potential. Our focus on people is at the very heart of our business, as evidenced by Gong’s numerous ‘best workplace’ awards. We are building a talented team in Dublin that will be responsible for spearheading Gong’s expansion across the EMEA region.”
Gong employs 1,000 staff globally. The company serves nearly 3,000 customers, of which more than 300 are headquartered in the EMEA region, including Cognism, Wayflyer, Teamwork and Quinyx.
