Michigan-based Altimetrik, a leading digital business enablement company, has announced the opening of a new technology hub in Guadalajara, Mexico, to meet growing customer demand. The company aims to have a team of 150 staff in place by the end of 2021 with additional hiring through 2022.
In a press release, chief executive officer Raj Sundaresan said: “Our emphasis on digital business, innovation, product and data engineering are a good fit with the technology talent pool in Mexico, and it is another step in expanding our global footprint to hire the best talent available.”
The country currently has more than 600,000 IT professionals with an 11% average growth rate adding 115,000 technology and engineering graduates per year, from more than 110 universities. The new office aims to expand the company’s focus on product and data engineering and digital transformation skills. It will also look to fulfil customer-facing roles including engineering leaders, user experience specialists and product managers.
In addition to the Mexico office, Altimetrik operates branches across Canada, India, Japan, Poland, Uruguay and the US.
